About Me

I am a professional cellist based in South Wales, working across orchestral, chamber, theatre, session, and teaching settings. I enjoy a varied career as both a performer and educator, with experience ranging from large-scale orchestral performances and musical theatre productions to intimate chamber concerts and recording sessions.

I trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, where I was awarded a scholarship and graduated with a BMus (Hons) in Music Performance. Throughout my studies and professional career, I have performed at a wide range of venues across Wales, England, and France, including the Royal Albert Hall in London, Symphony Hall in Birmingham and St David’s Hall in Cardiff.

As a pit musician, I have worked on numerous musical theatre productions, performing for shows such as Les Misérables, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Sister Act, Gypsy, Guys and Dolls, The Addams Family, Shrek! The Musical, Into the Woods, and Oliver!. Most recently, I performed as the cellist for Wojta Productions LTD’s latest local and intimate staging of The Last Five Years.

Chamber music forms a central part of my work, and I regularly perform with a range of ensembles in concert series and live performance settings, including Candlelight Concerts by HD Events, Fever UK and The FullTone Orchestra’s Starlight Series. I have also collaborated on projects alongside leading ensembles and artists, including Manchester Collective and Abel Selaocoe.

Alongside performing, I work as a session musician, recording for artists, music videos, and live sessions. I also have extensive teaching experience, having taught cello and beginner violin to students aged 5–30 through both private tuition and peripatetic teaching roles. I am passionate about helping students develop confidence, musicality, and enjoyment in their playing.

I am always interested in new collaborative projects and performance opportunities across a wide range of musical styles.
